Homestead Suites - an extended stay option

Homestead Suites is a hotel that I have not heard one, but apparently Homestead suites is an option for extended stay suites. I have only recently really started to learn and research about extended stay suites, and I think the idea is really cool. I found the suburban extended stay hotel to be a really cool concept, and the pictures seemed to show a hotel that lived up to the hype. Homestead suites website appeared the same, however there were only about three pictures that I could see on the website and none of them were really pictures of the rooms. Instead they were pictures of people, presumably customers of Homestead suites, in environments that appeared hotel like, although the view of the spaces was incredibly limited. This was kind of disappointing, as I am kind of a visual learner/researcher.

Homestead Suites - available options

Homestead suites offers all of the traditional amenities, though again when I tried to navigate to the page for more pictures, it said the page I wanted didn't exist. So I guess we'll just have to take their word for it about the laundry facilities, fitness centers, pools, fully equipped kitchens, irons and ironing boards, hot tubs, and tvs. I'm sure that Homestead Suites has all of the standards for extended stay suites, although pictures would have been nice.

Homestead Suites - pricing and room options

The pricing for the homestead suites seems fairly reasonable when they apply the special "weekly discount" advertised on their website. When I looked it worked out to just under $65 a night for two people staying two weeks in the Charleston area Homestead suites in the queen bed room (the only room option available with only one bed, basically the smallest room). However, it appeared that slightly bigger room options were not much more, which is pretty convenient. They even had the option of pet friendly rooms listed on the website, though I did not see anywhere to select that option in the "get rates" page. Hopefully you don't have to call to book a special room for that, because that would be a pain and a half in this world when we're all used to being able to book things in minutes from the comfort of our easy chairs without having to talk to anyone in the process.

Homestead Suites - for you or not for you

Whether or not Homestead Suites is for you depends on a couple things, foremost of which is this; just how long are you planning on needing paid accommodations? If you need accommodations for multiple weeks and you cannot find family or friends to stay with, if you are willing to pay a rate that is a better value than a hotel (but will definitely still add up after a couple weeks), and if you want a little more space and better amenities for a longer stay (and if you are staying in a place that is near a Homestead Suites) than perhaps Homestead suites is for you. Just bear in mind that Homestead Suites are not the only extended stay hotel option out there, so do remember to comparison shop!
